Blue Lagoon is a popular cocktail for parties made simply by mixing Vodka, and Lemonade with some orange juice (optional). With some Blue Curacao the drink gets its famous blue colour. The Blue Lagoon drink is perfectly according to its name since its texture subconsciously reflects the cool and refreshing images of water and clear blue sky. Blue Lagoon Cocktail – How To Mix
A perfectly chilled glass with lots of crushed ice, bubbly fizz from lemonade or Soda water and the smooth cool blue colour makes Blue Lagoon a perfect party drink.
To make the Blue Lagoon drink we used Soda water, some lime and lemon to replace the ready made Lemonade. A simple reason being – personal preference. Some people often prefer to use Sprite or similar fizzy drink as well to bring some variation to it.
To make the Blue Lagoon Cocktail simply put some ice cubes in the shaker or a jug and add Vodka, Lime juice, Lemon Juice, Orange Juice, Blue Curacao and Sugar to it. Now shake it well for 10 – 15 secs or if you are using a jug then mix it well with the Cocktail spoon.
Caster sugar is easy to dissolve and hence again our personal preference.
Once done, half fill the cocktail glass with some crushed ice and then strain cocktail in it.
Top up the remaining half of the glass with some Soda water and gently stir it. Your Blue Lagoon cocktail is now ready to be served.

- 25 ml Vodka
- 25 ml Blue Curacao
- 75 ml Soda Water
- 25 ml Orange Juice
- 10 ml Lemon Juice
- 5 ml Lime Juice
- 3 tsp Caster Sugar
- Some Ice cubes
