Chop one Banana into small slices and to make Banana Kheer thick mash the other Banana.

Mash the Banana properly so that it is even and will blend properly with milk.

Finely grind Cashew nuts, Almonds and Cardamom. This we will add in Milk while cooking Banana Kheer.

Finely chopped nuts gives you that extra flavour as and when you discover them in your mouth as you eat the dish.

How to make Banana Kheer

First take a deep pan and pour Milk in it. Since, you will be boiling the milk hence a deep pan ensures you do not spill milk while boiling.

Once you are done with the preparation steps for Banana Kheer it is time to check the milk.

As the milk starts boiling, stir it with a Spatula and put the flame on low. Now add few Saffron threads, grounded Cardamom and nuts into it.

Mix it well for 5 mins.

The Saffron will slowly start giving its colour. Now add mashed Banana to the milk and stir for a minute.

Add sliced Banana and Sugar to the milk and stir it again for another 2 – 3 mins.

Take some Cashew, Almond and Pistachio nuts and chop them.

  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar Cheeni
  • 10 g Cashew nuts Kaju
  • 5 g Almond Badam
  • 3 g Pistachio Pista

  • Now add, sliced Banana and sugar to the milk and stir it for another 2 – 3 mins.
    2 Ripe Banana, 1.5 tbsp Sugar
  • Turn off the flame as the Banana Kheer is ready.
  • To serve Banana Kheer, you can add chopped Cashew, Almond and Pistachio nuts on top. Serve hot or cold in dessert bowls and enjoy!
