Served with lots of ice, Old Fashioned Cocktail is a perfect blend for a weekend or a quiet evening – a time all for yourself. Whiskey rules this drink and for those who would like it a but strong can adjust Whiskey and Sugar to their taste.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients For Old Fashioned

  • 60 ml Whiskey
  • Few Dashes Angostura Bitter
  • 1 tsp Caster Sugar
  • Cubed Ice
  • Orange Zest or Peel

Instructions

How to mix Old Fashioned

  • Take Caster Sugar in an Old Fashioned glass and add few dashes of Angostura Bitter and a splash of water to it. Stir the mix until the Sugar is dissolved.
    1 tsp Caster Sugar, Few Dashes Angostura Bitter
  • Add half of whiskey and 4 - 5 ice cubes to the glass and stir it for 30 - 45 secs. Add remaining whiskey and some more ice cubes and stir for a little.
    60 ml Whiskey, Cubed Ice
  • Now take a peel of fresh Orange and twist it on top of the drink before dropping it into the cocktail.
    Orange Zest or Peel

  • You are now ready to enjoy Old Fashioned cocktail and have some good time.

Notes

Few considerations while preparing and serving the cocktail -
  • To give extra orange aroma, you can even rub the orange peel a little on the glass rim before serving.
