Notes

Few considerations while preparing and serving the cocktail -
  • While preparing the cocktail either you can take fresh lime juice or once you dice it into 4 parts, you can put these in the glass along with mint leaves and crush it with muddler. This will bring in the essential oils from lime into the Cocktail. Later you can remove crushed lime and mix the spirits.
  • It is better to bruise mint leaves before putting it in the cocktail as this lets releases of oils and gives better flavour.
  • To experiment you can also use Prosecco or other Sparkling wine in place of Champagne.
  • You can use Sugar Syrup available in super markets or can prepare the same at home by boiling equal parts of water and caster sugar to create the syrup, which should then be refrigerated to be used at later point in time. If you are preparing Sugar Syrup at home, this should be done well in advance.
